The company, which operates the PowerShark water purification systems, said it was aiming to be the cheapest of its products by the end of the year.
It said the price of the purifiers will range from £2.50 to £4.50 per 1,000 litres of water.
The PowerSharks are expected to be delivered by the middle of next year.
A spokesperson said: “We have been working hard to achieve a price point that is competitive with those in the UK.”
We will be able to deliver these systems for the price that we are currently paying for our traditional products, so there will be a cost to customers for this.
“The Powersharks were developed in collaboration with the UK Government’s energy efficiency unit, Energy UK, which is running a pilot scheme to reduce the use of traditional heat pumps.
This year, the UK government will introduce a range of new measures aimed at reducing energy use and greenhouse gas emissions, including a carbon price of up to 40% of the price consumers pay for electricity.
Energy UK is also offering an alternative to traditional heat pump systems called “solar hot water purifying” for homes and businesses.
