The first wave of retail sales for the new Comfort Purifiers is expected to be completed by the end of the year, the company said.
The first wave, which includes the appliances, is expected be completed in the first half of 2019, the firm said in a statement.
“We expect that the first Comfort Purifying Appliances will be delivered by mid-2018,” it said.
The company has said it expects to sell about 1 million units of the appliance in its first quarter, with the bulk of that going to customers in the U.S. and Europe.
It expects that the company’s sales of appliance-related goods will be around $2 billion for the first quarter of 2019.
The announcement comes a week after Wal-Mart said it would start selling its appliances through the company.
Wal-Mart already sells its water purifiers through its outlets in Canada, but it has not said when it plans to sell its appliance-only offerings in the United States.
