Flipkarts Water Purifiers, which make water more accessible, will help bring water to India for the first time in decades.
India is one of the world’s biggest water users and the country’s government is trying to make the country less dependent on imports.
Water has long been a key driver of the economy, and the Indian government is looking to bring back more of it.
The company says the water purifiers will bring water for 40 million people in rural India by 2020.
India accounts for almost half of the global population.
The new product, which is still in development, will be able to provide clean water for 10 million people by the end of the decade.
